Getting ready!

It is important to remember that as we age we lose muscle density at an alarming rate and this has a profound impact on our posture, metabolism and everyday performance. This can be addressed and in some cases even reversed by exercising with moderate resistance, most people will see benefits from working with weights between 1K to 4K dependant on existing injuries and conditions. So if you are looking to tone up, get into shape and reverse the aging process – our Bootcamp sessions are the perfect answer. All our Bootcamps are taken indoors so the weather does not affect our sessions. All the equipment that you need for the class is provided for you on site, although we do recommend that you bring a towel and a water bottle with you. We do ask you to sign up for a block of sessions so that you can start to see the benefits of your hard work and we know this doesn’t happen after just one session but by the eighth week you will really be noticing a difference in your body! It is inevitable to experience some muscles soreness when we start a new form of exercise but this normally lasts up to 48 hours and should be a distant memory by the next class! A typical session consists of arm toning exercises using a variety of hand weights, followed by lower leg and combination exercises and we finish with a fusion of tummy toning and core work on the mats. We aim to give you a full body conditioning workout in one hour that is safe but effective and strangely enjoyable too – see you in class!!!!
