Sports and remedial massage therapy combines advanced assessment, manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation to effectively treat a wide range of musculo-skeletal pain. It is not just reserved for performance athletes, EVERYONE can benefit from the technical knowledge and skills applied to restore optimal movement and resolve ongoing problems. As well as effectively treating a wide range of sports injuries such as shin splints, runner’s knee, gluteal pain and tendinopathies, it can also resolve chronic postural pain such as low back pain or neck pain caused by repetitive tasks or work habits. I will also guide on how to avoid re-occurrence by working to identify the causative factor and getting to the root of the problem. The combination of manual therapy and exercise is excellent for improving general flexibility and strength, making it a fantastic tool for injury prevention as part of pre- event training or post event recovery. What to expect from a session: -Consultation -Posture and movement assessment -Muscle/joint testing -Advanced soft tissue techniques and joint mobilisation -Gait analysis if required. Please see my website for further information on how and where I work. If you would like to discuss your case before booking please feel free to get in touch
