My name is Noemie and I’m a recent graduate from a 200h Hatha Yoga teacher- training course on the sunny Mandrem beach of Goa, India. My journey with yoga began about 6 years ago when I was making my first steps into self-discovery. It is not until 3 years ago that a regular practice showed me the importance of self-care and by consequence of self-acceptance.
Our bodies are the holders of the tension and emotional weight we acquire in our everyday lives. The practice of yoga can reverse this cycle; the physical focus in the practice of yoga not only helps us to release these blockages but also by learning to be mindful in this practice also helps us rewire our brains. To me, yoga is a tool that never fails to remind me the importance of being close to myself through whatever mindset.
I wish to make my classes accessible for all and make it a space that will provide for everybody’s needs, whatever they may be.
