Join me for a new Kundalini yoga class, exploring the Yoga of Awareness and the movement of energy. Each 1.5 hour class consists of exercise sets (kriyas) and meditations for increased health and vitality, personal growth and transformation.
Suitable for complete beginners, all levels and ages.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and bottle of water.
Great location to do some organic veg shopping, or have a fresh juice or tea after class!
Kundalini yoga uses sets of yoga postures, meditations, chanting with mantra, and breathing exercises to release physical, mental and emotional blocks, strengthen the nervous system and balance the glandular system.
The practice works on the physical, mental and energetic level. Exercises are grouped into sets called kriyas, each of which have a specific purpose and description, from detoxing the body, to reducing factors involved in stress, depression, and fear which keep us from accessing our Essential self and our full potential.
The practice of Kundalini yoga is ancient and powerfully transformative. Known as the Yoga of Awareness or Experience, the combinations of exercises are a form of ‘spiritual technology’, and regular practice clears and strengthens the energetic systems, improves health and vitality, increases concentration and mental focus, and empowers us to live more fully and fearlessly, in connection with our soul and the larger world around us.
