You work with someone else in the group to carry out a range of exercises that help you to discover: How to ground yourself How to improve your stability How to relax How to use your body efficiently How to operate from the centre (rather than the limbs alone) How to feel someone else's movement How to respond to that movement without tensing up How to respond to that movement without fighting it How to maintain your own integrity whilst working with another person There are no fast movements; everything is done slowly so you can find the best way to use your body in any given situation. It can be difficult to understand these movements without someone else to help you, which is why our Saturday tai chi classes are a popular choice.
