Mei Quan Academy of Tai Chi (pronounced "May Ch-one") teaches Yang Style Tai Chi (also written as Taiji, or Taijiquan) and Qi Gong in 48 locations across London. Tai Chi is an ancient, time-tested traditional Chinese method of self-development that helps the practitioner to develop balanced health for the body and the mind.
At Mei Quan Academy of Tai Chi, we practise all elements of the traditional Yang Style syllabus, and interested students can choose to study any or all aspects of Tai Chi (Taiji or Taijiquan): development of one's health; meditation; internal martial art; practical philosophy; and aspects of Chinese Medicine and traditional culture.

As a result of teaching thousands of students in London over many years, Mei Quan Academy of Tai Chi has developed a highly effective beginners course that enables the student to learn the basic elements of Tai Chi (also written as Taiji or Taijiquan). The course has proven successful in helping beginners to overcome any anxiety or particular difficulties they might have.
Classes entail a mix of warm-up and conditioning exercises, Tai Chi Form, Qi Gong, and Partnerwork.
