This Pilates mat class uses your bodyweight against gravity to explore strength and three-dimensionality. Using the classical repertoire, expect to leave the class feeling strong, mobile, and ready for the week! The classical repertoire of mat exercises builds muscle group strength and coordination, and is specifically designed to build a balanced, integrated body. Expect to improve core strength and spinal articulation, along with hip and shoulder mobility. As the classes tend to follow a regular series of exercises you will build consistency within your body. You may well have heard of some of them: The Hundred, The Abdominal Series, The Teaser. This process allows the work to deepen and challenge with each class.
