Start your weekend getting out of your head and into your body. This class offers a space to switch off the thinking, logical mind and drop into a more feelingful, embodied experience. We will explore how movement, stillness and breath can come together, using traditional yoga asanas as a jumping off point but finding more freedom and expression within and between the shapes.
Rather than emphasising ‘perfect’ alignment or feeling rushed through pose after pose, we will use subtle movements, postures and nervous system regulation techniques as a vehicle to allow feelings, intentions and awareness to flow through the body. There isn’t a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to move or feel: this session creates space for however you are on the day.
