Nia is a holistic barefoot fitness class drawing from dance arts, martial arts and healing arts. I'm certified to teach you this very special Nia Technique. It's not your average fitness class!
The choreography is simple but versatile and expressive to a sublime playlist of music across all genres. No overplayed chart music here! We increase awareness of our bodies and prioritise what feels good. We also use free dance (anything goes!) to really get out of our heads and into our bodies, finding new ways to move and breaking habits.
Suitable for all levels so ideal for gently getting moving, right up to those wanting a sweaty workout. We work on personalising movement and allowing you to adjust the range of movement at any point during class.
Each session is a drop in stand alone class so there is no commitment needed but after experiencing this unique activity you may wish to come back for more to take a deeper dive!
