These classes are mixed level and include warm up, a focused asana practice, some deep stretch movements, breath work and a short relaxing meditation. Each class focuses on postures, breath practices and meditation.
Zoe often blends in somatic yoga into classes, so expect an interesting class. Zoe aims to teach and equip individual students to listen and feel how their body responds to breath and each posture and thus gain a deep understanding and awareness of their own body’s ability (asking students to fit the pose to the body and not the body to the pose). Practice therefore becomes one’s own, and students grow to be one’s own teacher.
