This dance class is for anyone who wants to stay fit while having fun and meeting new people and is not strictly based on any specific dance genre.
Each class will start with a mobility exercises and a warm up to get the body ready for dancing safely. All exercises will be appropriately tailored to the group. During class you will learn dance steps and moves that you can use during social gatherings, movements inspired by rock and roll, disco and jazz all danced to some iconic tunes. At the end of the class we will join the steps and moves learned into a fun routine that will release endorphins and will help you stay fit. Each class will finish with a gentle stretch and mobility exercises.
This class is designed to bring dance and joy to people’s lives. You don’t need any particular level of fitness or dance experience and is a great way to stay fit, get in a good mood and meet new people.
