The fundamentals classes are designed to give beginners the tools and skills to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They follow the structure of a brief warm up, where the focus is placed upon getting the body ready to take part in the class. Following the warm up we head into the martial arts techniques where we start from our feet and end on the ground in a controlling position. From there we aim to improve our position whilst controlling our opponent. Usually we also have certain submissions incorporated in the class.
We know that after completing the fundamentals programme people will have the confidence and techniques to defend themselves in any situation whilst being in control.
