Hour class devoted to beginners and style switchers. Classes are rolling admission and normally small enough to allow for individual instruction. Beginners and style switchers welcome. We teach Yeung (Yang) Family tai chi principles. The founder and principal instructor is a 20+ year practitioner and a disciple of Jim Uglow, Europe's leading Yeung Family exponent. Jim invites Kevin to join him every year to Hong Kong to train with the family.

While complete beginners are welcome, we suggest that anyone interested spend a little time reading about Tai Chi and have a look at the foundational practice of the form. As wonderful as this grand art is, it's not as easy as it may look, requires regular practice and is a life long endeavour for those who seek anything approaching mastery. Those with a more casual interest might want to sample "Tai Chi on the Crescent", a donation-only session that meets every Sunday morning for 45 minutes at 9:30 am on Adelaide Crescent in Hove. The teacher, Kevin Bryant, welcomes you to tea and coffee at the Lawn Cafe on the seafront for questions and conversation.
