Sling Swing is an exciting gentle movement and dance class for mums and dads or carers with their babies and toddlers in slings and baby carriers. The aim of the classes is to have fun in a friendly, musical environment and to really bond with your baby!

The benefits of Sling Swing apply to both parent and baby. The increase in confidence that carrying and having fun with your baby brings, the huge mood and energy boost that comes with no pressure, enjoyable exercise and lots of laughter and a gentle reintroduction to movement and exercise after having your baby.

For baby the benefits of being worn in a sling and experiencing the parent's movements are huge! Being carried and being able to see the world from an "adult-eye-view" provides mental stimulation while experiencing the movement of the parent or caregiver build the baby's core muscles and vestibular balance systems together with the added bonus of being introduced to rhythm and music from a young age and from the safety and comfort of their caregiver's "arms".

All Sling Swing teachers have completed thorough training with Sling Swing before they commence teaching and are either qualified Babywearing consultants or have completed a Babywearing Peer Support course.
