Peak Pilates does what is says on the tin, a studio completely dedicated to Pilates on the edge of the peaks. We have a range of classes every week day including Mat Pilates, Trigger Point Pilates and Barre.
Pilates is a program which can develop core and back strength, improve flexibility, increase muscle tone and improve posture. Pilates is a technique using flowing movements, with control and precision. It is suitable for all levels and abilities from an absolute beginner to an elite athlete. I offer a range of classes therefore to suit people’s individual needs and interests.
Trigger Point Pilates: Many of us suffer from pain from niggles to chronic through leading busy lives. We now spend our lives sitting in cars, in front of computer screens, texting and various exercise regimes which can cause pain. During this class you will discover how to undo muscular resitrictions, enhance functional movement and treat pain through a sequence of exercises using prickly balls, foam rollers, bands and bender balls. After the class you will have improved posture, less pain and will feel lighter and more relaxed.
