Iyengar Yoga classes with Priscila. These are general classes with beginners joining all year around. Poses are shown and explained in depth with emphasis to alignment, evenness in weight distribution, stretch, etc. the mind is constantly drawn to observing and adjusting. The result translates in quietness of the mind , a sense of poise, focus and balance.
The group of pupils attending are very friendly and helpful. I will take into consideration injuries and/or difficulties and together we will find the best way to achieve the performance of a posture. It might be that posture is altered and adapted for the sake of suiting the difficulty.
The use of yoga equipment will enhance the understanding and improve awareness, thus resulting in better performance. At the end of the class you will feel energised, relaxed and calm.
