You come to my yoga flow and meditation class at the end of your working day. Before you know it, you are moving your body and focusing on your breath. You stretch, open and gradually rinse out the physical tensions of the day. In addition you are building strength and better awareness of your body’s range and motion. You create heat. You are challenged in your body and also in your mind as you hold certain poses amid the flow. You start to breathe better and feel a little more at ease. After a while you find you can be still. You sit and are guided in to a meditation using breath techniques and visualization. Your breath slows down. Your mind becomes quieter. In the pauses between the breath you may find a place of pause… a lightness...a quiet... where none of the attachments of life or it’s complications are weighing you down. This is a true experience of yoga. So this my friends is what I hope to offer you in my sessions. It may not happen in the first class. I do what I can to guide you there… the rest of it, (commitment, focus etc) is up to you. This class is for those with some experience of yoga- Level 1-2. It is not appropriate for absolute beginners.
