Classes run to a similar format, starting with a targeted warm up. We cover the three "Ks" of karate consisting of Kihon (basics: covering stances, punches, kicks, strikes and blocks etc), Kata (set, choreographed moves performed against "imaginary" opponents), and Kumite (sparring - covering basic set sparring through to self defence).
We have structured training programs for complete beginners or returning experienced martial artists. Our instructors are very experienced and train in empty hand and weapons, which they bring into their teaching.
