Yin is primarily a practice of stillness and contemplation - the perfect antidote to a busy day, helping you unwind and decompress. In addition to this, yin yoga complements beautifully other forms of high intensity exercise or faster styles of yoga.
Your teacher will guide you through a series of postures which will be held for anywhere between 45 seconds up to 5 minutes each. This is known as passive stretching which targets your fascia, ligaments and connective tissues in a safe way. This class is open to all, it’s great for complete beginners.
