Sessions would typically involve facilitated movement exercises, free movement expression as well as creative exploration to encourage the following:
Access an expanding range of physicality for a different feel for possibilities within oneself and life, as well as unlock body resources for personal effectiveness and mobilisation towards one's goals.
Gain awareness of self through learning about personal movement patterns and what they reveal about inner landscapes, personality, motivations, strengths and limitations.
Connect more deeply with oneself through finding a home within one's body - a place of centred, grounded and authentic being, achieving relaxation and mindfulness in the process.
Experience the cathartic release yet contained channelling of emotions via expressive physicality and loosening of body tension in order to free oneself from unhealthy emotional baggage whilst exploring ways to bring about their resolution.
Classes are open to everyone regardless of level of experience in dance.
