Annie's classes are a Hatha style yoga (with all sorts of other influences such as Scarivelli, Feldenkrais and the occasional sprinkling of pilates) – a gentle style that still delivers strength and flexibility in a safe manner and I incorporate pranayama (breathing exercises) into all my classes. Classes are light-hearted, fun and enjoyable.

Classes are tailored towards modern life. For instance for computer users, to try and neutralise some of the negative effects of office work such as releasing hunched neck/shoulders, releasing the spine, hips and hamstrings after long periods of sitting. Hopefully, after each class, you will feel relaxed, re-energised, de-stressed, calm and a little bit stronger and easier in your body! Come every week or just turn up to the occasional class.

PARKING: Free parking on Swains Lane. Don't park on Makepeace Avenue (or you will get a ticket and a big fine) - you can park on Hillway – i.e the road that goes up through the centre of the whole estate, but you MUST put a notice in your car that says you are attending yoga at Holly Lodge Community Centre and add your mobile number.

DIRECTIONS: There are various ways you can get into the Holly Lodge Estate either on foot or by car (via Swains Lane, Highgate West Hill, Hillway). If you are coming from Highgate Village and heading down Highgate West Hill - on your left there is an entrance into the Holly Lodge Estate (it has big white gates that are usually opened back). Then take the right on the road down the middle of the estate (Hillway) - and look at the amazing view of the City! Keep walking down and Makepeace Avenue is the second road on the left (post box on the corner) And the Community Centre (set back from the road) is on the ground floor of the first building on the right (it's a modern block of flats above so stands out) - there are 2 doorways next to each other – one has the Community Centre sign over the top, it's that one.
