Feeling anxious and stressed these days is a common emotional state and practising yoga is a good way to reset your body and mind. Join me in this nourishing slow flow practice where we work on the deep tissues of the body.
We hold the postures for a bit longer, 3-5 minutes, focusing on releasing and letting go of unnecessary efforts. This is a simple, but also challenging practice that will calm your central nervous system down and help develop a non-aggressive approach to your body.
Suitable for all levels of experience, everyone is welcome.
Props for this class: a yoga mat, blocks (books are good substitutes), a belt, a bolster (or pillows/ cushions/ rolled up blanket), a blanket for the relaxation bit and eye pillows are always a good idea!
