Restorative yoga class where we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move towards balance, by supporting the body with props.
A restorative practice is for those times when you feel weak, fatigued, stressed and is specially beneficial before, during or after a major life event.
Props for this class: * yoga mat/ blanket to lie down, * blocks (books are good substitutes), * a belt (towel as a subtitute), * a chair, * a bolster (or pillows/ cushions/ rolled up THICK blanket). This prop is very important, I'll be teaching you how to fold your blanket in case you don't a bolster, so make sure you have one thick blanket handy. * eye pillows are always a good idea! * and if you fancy essential oils I'd recommend lavender for this practise
Please do NOT get discouraged if you don't have any of the props! Keep the substitutes close to you and I'll show how to use them.
