I have been practising yoga since 2006. Initially, as a way to combat back pain, I soon realised yoga has the potential to go much deeper than making shapes and stretching. Since qualifying as a teacher at Yoga Vidya Gurukul, India in 2014 and further training with Yogasara Bristol, I have experienced how all aspects of my life have woven themselves into my yoga practice and vice versa. I have practised various types of yoga but really found my home with classes that encourage creativity, acceptance and appreciation of the diversity of the human body. It is this celebration of diversity that I love about yoga and feel privileged to share in my classes as a teacher.
