Hello! I'm Kate and I teach a form of yoga inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, author of 'Awakening the Spine'. Enjoy the time and space in which to explore a connected relationship with yoga postures and the body.
This approach to practice cultivates somatic awareness and, working with meditative attention and focus, you will learn how to allow the movements and asanas to unfold in their own time, letting the body, breath and gravity be your guide. Rather than being fixed on how postures look, we can become more interested in how they feel and the connections we can discover within and around the body.
This practise is an invitation to discover a more natural, easeful way of being in our bodies and compliments all styles of yoga.
