Join us for a friendly and challenging lunchtime yoga class.
Iyengar yoga emphasises detailed correctness in the poses and develops your awareness and understanding. Key elements are attention to alignment, specific sequencing of postures, the use of props, modifications, and timings.
These classes are good for those with experience or beginners as I can modify and adapt poses for different levels of experience.
This class is not appropriate if you are under 14 weeks pregnant and please notify me if you are pregnant before attending class so I can plan accordingly.
About Annemarie: Annemarie first began yoga as a teenager in New York and discovered the Iyengar method when she came to Bristol in 1997. She immediately recognised the benefits that Iyengar yoga could bring: a feeling of well-being, calm and challenge. She loves its lineage, rigorous methodology, and clarity.
