Yoga is a fantastic way to strengthen the whole body and improve mental wellbeing and can be done by everyone no matter what your age or ability. You do not need to be flexible to do yoga! This Yoga class includes asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and guided relaxation. They follow a hatha/ vinyasa flow style, where postures are linked using the breath. We will work on correct alignment in postures and include individual modifications to enable you to release in the postures. The importance of connecting mind, body and breath will be emphasised, The practice aims to encourage stillness of mind as well as developing strength, flexibility and balance in the body.
