After twelve years studying and practising Kung Fu, I became fascinated by the internal side of this martial art. This led me to undertake the practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, which uses breath control and movement to influence the flow of Qi throughout the body. It was whilst doing this that I noticed a huge improvement in my own health and well-being. I was astounded by the change in myself, and that fascination inspired me to teach this beautiful art form.
I teach Traditional Yang style Tai Chi, which is one of the five original family styles. It's focus is predominately on internal cultivation, but it also has martial application, which I do use to help teach certain aspects of the form.
