After being born in a residential yoga centre in the UK to two yoga teachers, Dan truly has yoga in the blood. His parents trained with the British Wheel of Yoga in the early 1980s, and this upbringing instilled an innate quality of calm. This, paired with inspiration from a long-time yoga teacher of Dan’s, compelled him to become a yoga teacher himself. After a career in the construction industry, Dan finally found the chance to pursue this dream. He trained with the Sivananda Yoga School in Southern India, which teaches a classical form of Indian Yoga. He teaches a relaxed class suitable for beginners and intermediates. Variations are always offered for those who don’t currently feel able to complete a particular posture and also for those more advanced who want to go further. This creates a relaxed space where there is no pressure or expectation on students.
