Curious about yoga but feeling a bit unsure of where to start? You’re not alone—and that’s exactly why we created our Yoga for Beginners workshop. This 90-minute session is a down-to-earth, welcoming space designed for anyone who wants to explore yoga in a supportive environment—no experience or flexibility required.
This workshop is all about the basics at your speed. We’ll guide you through some of the key yoga poses—like the Warrior series—that you’ll see popping up again and again in classes. You’ll get familiar with how to move, how to modify poses for your body, and how to start connecting movement with breath (a big part of what makes yoga feel so good).
Along the way, we’ll also introduce you to the why behind the practice—how the breath supports not just your movement, but your nervous system, your focus, and your overall sense of wellbeing. Think of it as a mix of movement, mindfulness, and a little light philosophy—all served up with a healthy dose of kindness and curiosity.
And best of all? You can ask questions, take your time, and explore at your own pace. Our lovely teachers will be there to support you, answer anything you’re wondering about, and help guide you toward classes that feel like the right next step—whether you’re looking to build strength, find calm, or just stretch out the stress of daily life.
You don’t need to be flexible, or athletic, or even particularly chill. You just need a willingness to show up and explore. Yoga isn’t about achieving the perfect pose—it’s about meeting yourself where you are, and discovering what feels good in your body.
This workshop is a gentle, grounded way to find out if yoga is for you—and we think you might be pleasantly surprised.
