Balancing.An rejuvenating, friendly and fun class for parents with babies from 6-8 weeks old.Each session aims to reconnect with your movement patterns and support spinal alignment, during your postnatal recovery. We will explore using the breath and movement to encourage the body to recover after birth, positively affect reactivity of our pelvic floor, for a gradual strengthening to support our everyday lives.The class is mat based, with use of props like Pilates balls, mini hand weights and resistance bands. Expect babies feeding, sleeping, crying, being changed or cuddled; all whilst we work with pilates exercises to help restore vitality in the body. Time for tea and chats after class too!No prior experience of Pilates is needed. All parents are welcome to this class, a space to connect with your babies and enjoy the encouraging and supportive environment with other parents and your teacher :) P.S. Mats are provided at the studio, as well as props etc. Do feel free to bring your own also if you'd prefer. We have changing rooms also and a tea station! :)
