Designed for those who prefer a gentler paced practice. This class is breath and mindfulness based with emphasis on fluidity and awareness in motion at all times.
A slower pace than a Vinyasa Flow class, it is still equally strength building; encouraging this coupled with steadiness with longer holds. We will cultivate a steadiness of body, mind, focus and well-being.
The second half of the class will move into a Restorative practice. In restorative yoga, postures are held for several minutes with minimal effort as we learn to slow down our pace, ease into relaxation and restore our bodies and minds.
Find stillness and tranquility in nurturing postures that are aided by props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and eye pillows, allowing your body and nervous system to completely relax.
Our muscles and bones are treated to a delightful relief of their duties of support and action, allowing layers of tension to melt away.
A perfect complement to those who are used to a more dynamic, energetic practice.
