This Ashtanga class brings together all you've been learning in our Ashtanga Basics and Mysore Ashtanga classes! The class is led by your teacher as we practice the whole Ashtanga Primary series, with the group moving through the sequence at the same time to pace of the Ashtanga count.
Come enjoy moving together as a group and enjoy the dynamic pace of the Ashtanga practice! Modifications to postures are totally welcome if you know what they are for you.
This class is great for those who practice Ashtanga, even if it's a few months old or even if you don't currently practice the whole Ashtanga Primary Series! You’re welcome to pause whenever you wish, and for more challenging postures, variations will be given!
It can be quite nice (and interesting!) to keep breathing with the class, and observe the rest of the class as to what is coming next for you in your practice :)
If you are totally new to Ashtanga, we would recommend attending our other Ashtanga classes first; namely Ashtanga Basics, or Ashtanga Self Practice with guidance and assists, where we can help and guide you in learning the foundations of this practice.
