About Amy:
Amy is a Sport Therapist that offers a variety of services including: Sport Massage, Electrotherapy, Ultrasound therapy, Rehabilitation exercise prescription, Injury prevention exercise prescription, Myofascial treatment, Taping, Dry Cupping
Amy qualified as a Sports Therapist in 2018 with a 1st degree with honours, from the University of Worcester and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists (SST). During her training she was the lead Sports Therapist for the university’s netball team, giving her experience of working with professional Super league netball players. She also carried out placement with Top to Toe Physiotherapy at Dings Crusaders RFC and has continued to assist with the club since graduating.
Since qualifying, Amy has been the Sports Therapist for Clevedon RFC (2018 – 2021) and worked in private practice. Despite working in sport, Amy also treats general aches and pains that aren’t necessarily caused by sport and affect people in their day to day lives.
Amy is qualified in sports/deep tissue massage, sports rehabilitation, electrotherapy (e.g. ultrasound), Maitland mobilisations and myofascial dry cupping. She also continues to progress by carrying out CPD to keep her up to date with injury assessments and treatments.
Amy is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a keen sports fan, with particular interests in athletics and triathlon.
