Capoeira is a unique flow of martial art, dance, theatre, song and music. Originally used by slaves in the plantations of Brazil, Capoeira is now a worldwide art, combining dexterity and flexibility to create a highly energetic dance/combat/game.
Training explores the dynamics of the capoeira game and the philosophy of the art – mental flexibility, calm under pressure, trickery and camaraderie – and the music, as passed down by our master, Mestre Laercio.
