In a session I will often incorporate deep tissue techniques when need it as part of your Holistic Treatment. I will start slowly and superficially easing into the depth of the muscle. I will be using my hands, fingertips, knuckles, forearms and elbows; using slow, focused strokes and deep pressure mixed with gentler techniques so you have a change to integrate the work. I always make sure I listen to your body, feedback and individual needs.
After a deep tissue massage you may feel a little sore or achy the next day, but no more than you would after having a workout. Your body might be releasing toxins so being properly hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after your treatment could be very helpful to support your healing process.
