I teach in the Viniyoga tradition of yoga that is suitable for beginners and those who have practiced for a while. In brief, Viniyoga means yoga that can be specially applied, and adapted to suit everyone, no matter what age or fitness. The yoga postures are performed in tandem with the breath which provides a great focus for the mind and helps us understand how our bodies are reacting to the movements. Loose comfortable clothing should be worn. No shoes or socks are worn in yoga classes. Mats and blocks can be lent by me, but if you decide you would like to continue, I would encourage you to purchase your own, either from me or any other outlet.
