These classes are suitable for Mums 6+ weeks post natal or 8+ weeks following a C-section.
Our Post Natal Pilates class is specifically designed for Post Natal Mums. Pilates provides a safe and effective way to re-educate your body, re-strengthen weakened muscles and recover your pre-baby shape. As well as finding and re-connecting with your ‘Centre’, gentle stretching and strengthening of the back and shoulders will relieve tension and help to protect you against back pain as the weight of your baby grows.
Holistic in approach, Pilates will rejuvenate both your mind and body, help to combat fatigue and improve your general sense of wellbeing at this challenging time. These classes are very informal and babies are more than welcome! If you need to feed or change your baby please feel free to do so during the classes
What to expect...
You can wear anything you like to do Pilates as long as it's not too baggy and you can move around safely and comfortably. Please wear socks, trainers are not required. Mats and equipment are provided but please bring along water if you would like to.
