Omkariyoga leads traditional forms of Hatha,Raja yoga and Vinyasa. THIS CLASS IS IN STUDIO ONLY A typical class will include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), hands-on adjustments, guided relaxation, chanting and snippets of yoga philosophy. I use my direct experience, the wonderful Sivananda teachings and a graceful intelligence to guide me in classes offering a deep, challenging yet playful practice to suit whoever I am teaching. I allow a certain amount of flow particularly in the standing postures. I may even bring in words and music to support the aims of the class. I aim to help participants connect to their own strength, flexibility and power and find inner peace both on and off the mat. Open to all levels and some with experience will be challenged.
