Live online Iyengar Yoga with Naomi Maggs. Friday morning Iyengar yoga, general level with a focus on the inverted poses. You will be expected to have a full Iyengar kit for this Friday morning class. A full Iyengar Kit is: a mat, 4 blocks, 2 bricks, a belt, a chair, a bolster and blankets. Substitutes can be made if you don't have a full kit. Please have a yoga mat (or a non-slip floor). Iyengar Yoga is clearly explained and accessible to all. Yoga will improve posture, build strength, help you to de-stress and lift your spirits. Mobility and flexibility will also improve. Online classes are different from usual class situation as the teacher is not in the room with you to monitor your actions. Beginners are welcome; you may be offered alternative poses at times to work at a level that suits you better. You are responsible for your own body; gauge the safety of your practice within your environment and personal limitations. It is better to build up slowly than force or strain. If there is any doubt whether you do or don't do a pose at this time do not do. Please tell me and i will offer you a modified or alternative pose.
