My background is in Ashtanga Vinyasa, although I no longer practice the lineage strictly, I am influenced by the discipline and attention given to the breath, Bandha (energy lock) and Gaze. That being said – I also bring light-heartedness into my teaching and don’t take life too seriously! I first came to yoga to de-stress and regulate after a long day. I started to lean into the teachings beyond asana, which took me to India, where I trained and I return to practice and teach as often as I can. Yoga has brought stability and lightness into my life and continues to help me heal in countless ways. It is an honour to assist and share what I have learnt with others.
