Pilates uses a series of slow, flowing, precise, movements which challenge all the muscles, but in particular the deep postural muscles especially the pelvic floor and the deep abdominals - known as your "core stability", or "girdle".

It helps to reshape your body, which will become longer, leaner and more toned. It will also improve your posture, and is a great way to relieve unwanted tension and breathe more efficiently

Pilates is a useful rehabilitation aid after injury, it can be used to help in the treatment of bad backs and to overcome problems with joints and muscles.

These are slower paced small group Pilates sessions allowing individual attention and support for those recovering from injury or working to correct specific postural issues. Not suitable for Pre-natal ladies or those less than eight weeks post postpartum where specific pre/ post natal classes are advised.
