We start the class with warm up exercises that ensure your body releases tension and is prepared for the kriya. In Kundalini yoga a kriya is a set of exercises carefully put together for a particular purpose. We might work on balancing the heart centre, strengthening our core or stimulating the lymphatic system. There are hundreds of different kriyas. Each one consists of yogic postures, breathwork, mudras and mantra - the divine sound current.
After the kriya we allow ourselves to melt into deep relaxation before we finish the class with connecting to our true self through meditation.
Kundalini yoga is an ancient yogic technology and a practice to help you stay healthy, happy and radiant. It works on many levels: physical, emotional and spiritual being just some of them.

What to bring?
Pleases bring a yoga mat, bottle of water and blanket to cover yourself during deep relaxation. There are mats available at the venue as well.
There is free parking available on Diamond Street car park which is just a couple of minutes walk from the Elephant House.
