Some experience is required on fridays as we will be working through most of the Primary Series at a moderate pace. If you are unsure as to whether this class will suit you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Ashtanga Vinyasa is a dynamic and challenging form of Hatha Yoga in which movements are linked with breath in a precise, 'counted', sequence. Through the focus on the rhythm of the breath combined with specific yoga asanas (postures), the body is strengthened and purified and the mind becomes calm. For those who don't mind working hard or breaking a sweat, this practice brings balance and peace throughout all areas of your life. Some modifications will be given, and all who are keen are welcome.
