The purpose of Hatha Yoga is to prepare the body, mind and energies to function at their best, so that the practitioner can move freely in the world without restriction. It is a practice that brings balance to the whole body-mind system, with the ability to elevate your consciousness.
Classes will include initial relaxation, full-body warm up (sun salutations), core strengthening exercises, a variety of asanas (postures) to bring steadiness and ease to the body, mind and energies, and conclude with a final relaxation. If done correctly and with awareness the practitioner will leave feeling rejuvenated for the day ahead.
