Book in as usual - within some time to spare before practice starts. This class will be held on Zoom from my living room - likely with my dog! Grab a cup of tea, your mat, a block (or a book/a rolled up towel) and join me for this home Yoga practice.
This is a nurturing, breath-centric practice, inspired heavily by Forrest Yoga.
Get inspired to voyage deep. We'll start by ramping up our curiosity; what is the pace of breath? What is engaged in the muscles of our neck? What is our connection to the earth? This is all before diving deep into our hips, core and shoulder work (all of the juicy stuff!).
Expect some delicious abdominals, with many variations for you to try out. There will also be some optional wall work and inversions will be scattered through this practice. Let's get comfy in this new perspective!
Be sure to carry an extra cosy jumper to your mat as we will end with an extra-long savasana to invite you to truly sink in to this space you have allowed yourself.
Please note - Please try to book in at least an hour before hand. I will then send you a link to open to the Zoom practice. You will be muted upon entry, but there will be time to connect afterwards.
HOW TO WORK ZOOM:
1. Register with me sometime before the class – either via the booking website or via MoveGB if you have a membership (book as normal)
2. I will send you a link to join the class after you have registered.
3. Set up a space (you don’t need a mat if you don’t have one, but it is useful if you do!), and maybe grab a cushion or two and a blanket
4. There will be time after each Yoga session for us to have a chat over a cup of tea together.
