Join Carrie for this one-off toddler yoga class.
Expect time to move, play, sing and dance with your child in a held and supported environment!
We will learn yoga poses in an imaginative way, suitable for children, through story telling, games, music and movement. Embrace your inner child (and your actual child) as you enjoy a class suitable for all ages. Expect a playful approach to yoga with no previous experience required.
We will begin with a short check-in, moving into some mindful exercises before learning some yoga poses. There will be music to move to, some easy to learn yogic songs (no nursery rhymes) and some fun games before starting to wind down, exploring ways to calm, soothe and relax.
Suitable for 6 weeks postpartum or 10 weeks after an abdominal birth to 1 year old. Crawlers welcome!
Naturally babies may need changing, cuddles and feeding throughout the class, this is all encouraged and very warmly welcomed. This is a lovely way to meet other parents and for children and babies to be entertained, interact, move and play as they like.
Elevate is a fully accessible studio, we are ground level with no steps or stairs - prams are welcome!
