Join us with your new baby to mindfully reconnect with your body-mind, your baby, and other new parents in a held and supported environment. We welcome all new parents, and no yoga experience is needed.
Expect a thoughtful and inclusive approach to yoga, where you are welcome just as you are, and guided with many options for you to find what feels right for you, in that moment. Nurture the achy parts, tend to areas that might be healing, such as core and pelvic floor, and remember how strong you already are, just by showing up. Much needed restorative rest is encouraged, and will always close every practice.
Naturally babies will make noise, may need changing, cuddles or feeding throughout the class. This is all warmly welcomed, and practicing to let go of plans and going with the flow is a useful skill for baby parenting too!
Suitable for 6 weeks postpartum or 10 weeks after an abdominal birth, to 1 year old. Crawlers welcome!
Elevate is a fully accessible studio, we are ground level with no steps or stairs - prams are welcome.
