Living in Fiji, I learned the basics of yoga rolling in the sand and saluting the huge setting sun, until this practice quickly became a must for me; a sweet haven and a peaceful start to a hectic day working in paradise. When I discovered I was pregnant I watched in wonder at what our bodies are capable of. I felt this new dedication to movement and grounding in yoga as I realised it was helping me to connect and navigate through crazy changes. I really deepened my practice and felt inspired to teach.
Since then yoga and teacher training just shook up my world! Still trying to figure this all out, but now I feel I'm stepping on a path that is a bit brighter, more curious and full of potential. The quality of my attention cultivated through yoga has kaleidoscoped my perspective and forged new pathways of thinking and living. What may start as simply breath and movement (vinyasa) could spiral into an entire emotional, physical and even spiritual transformation.
An intention to live and love every moment is a chance to truly taste life.
I have so many inspirations in yoga and bring a flavour of it all to my classes. From powerful flows to deep relaxation and meditation, we follow our breath and open our bodies. An open body leads to an open mind!
