My training in seasonal yoga is about living in tune with nature & the changes that occur throughout the year. Over time this is something that we have become so far removed from as we push our work into the late hours and also push our bodies regardless of what nature is saying. We can tune our lifestyles to the energy fluctuations of the seasons. A balanced energy flow has benefits such as improved health and this has been known for thousands of years through ancient Chinese traditions. Yoga philosophy aligns with Chinese knowledge in using our energy or 'prana' or ‘chi’ flows to achieve not only balance and good health but to guide us to a higher state of being. We can bring yoga into all aspects of our daily lives and enhance our approach to life.
I also run pregnancy yoga classes. During pregnancy it is important to take time for yourselves to prepare the mind and emotions for labour and motherhood. My pregnancy yoga classes offer a welcoming, relaxed and nurturing environment to nourish and support you on your journey to becoming a mother.
